Canyon Oak Drive
Lot size: 21350 sq. ft
Floor area (including garage): 5360 sq. ft
Project scope: 4480 sq. ft
Project status: design development
Conceived as a “bridge” that connects the existing 40’s era residence and the proposed multi-level office/artist studio, the project also includes a new master suite, living room, dining room, kitchen, art gallery and gym. The “bridge” engages the pool on the backside, where sliding glass walls are able to be opened to the pool deck. The deconstructed gable roof is suggestive of the existing architecture, however, the exterior walls of the new addition are made up of layers of glass and polycarbonate panels that provide privacy where required. The serpentine shape of the structure is reflective of the winding street and subsequent front yard setback.
